Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer and director. He is most well famous for his role as the lead in Birdman. Keaton is an actor with a variety of talents who has the ability to perform both comic and dramatic roles. In addition, he has performed various romantic characters, and appeared in several action thrillers during his professional career. While in his teens He began to develop an appreciation for acting and performance. Later, he attempted stand-up comedy as a teenager. Although his comedy career didn't go well, it was the foundation to his acting career. Not able to achieve success as a comedian he took the job of the TV cameraman at a cable station. When he was working in the station the moment he realized it was his dream to be behind the camera. When he was offered a part on television, he played in a variety of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was an innately talented actor, and quickly became a household name in the world of television. His comedic performances earned him fame and a successful film career. His success was further amplified by his portrayal of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. In his later years and grew older, he began to venture into producing and directing. His performance in 2014's Birdman brought him nominations and accolades.
